Insider Secrets:

Websites the pros shop

Fabric Guru.com

This site is one of my favorites! They offer $4.99 flat rate shipping for any U.S. order.

With over 15,000 items to choose from, it's no wonder why the folks at Fabric Guru claim to be "fabriholics". They have dozens of well-known designers including Ralph Lauren, P. Kaufmann, Waverly and Tommy Bahama.

The website is easy to navigate with a color bar and long list of featured designers right on the home page. With over 14 years in service they have excellent customer service and a 99% positive feedback record.

Samples are $1 for all by-the-yard fabrics.

DenverFabrics.com

It isn't the prettiest site but that doesn't mean Denver Fabric has any less fabric. Stock full of popular designs and, even better, discounts and sales that are updated weekly make this site a bargain hunter's dream.

Prints range from classy to trendy with designers like Richloom Platinu, Barrow Marrimac and, one of my favorites, Premier Prints. Unlike other sites, Denver Fabrics ships internationally.

Samples start at $2.50 and range depending on price of yardage.

Fabric.com

This site is perfect for beginners! From a "design wall" feature for storing your favorite fabrics to several helpful charts that assist in determining how much fabric you will need for your project, Fabric.com helps take the pain out of ordering.

With the daunting task of ordering the right amount of fabric out of the way, all you have to worry about is picking just one. MUST. NOT. BUY. ALL. THE. FABRICS.

Designers such as the funky Cotton & Steel and trendy Free Spirit make this website a joy to browse.

Samples are $1.75 each.

Local stores are good sources, too!

*thier sites aren't 1/2 bad either. Go ahead, give 'em a click.
